When There Is Nothing Left To Burn.

As i was saying, this week is such a bitch but all i can say is the Busiest days are over. 

Finally started on COM225 video and we visited 2 Columbariums today. The one at Choa Chu Kang looks like a very nice community centre and being at the Mandai one brought back memories of Qing Ming Jie days. It was a pretty interesting outdoor shoot but i think my mum will probably flip if i tell her that i borrowed one of the occupant’s flowers for my scenes. 

Any oh how. Tonight i finally could OTOT and have a life other than meetings and trainings. Had a scrumptious Thai dinner spread at Rail Mall with Ms. Slim and spent our night the very TGIF way. Loveee it.

It’s 415AM. I am counting down to my TGIF night tomorrow already. Cheerios : )

Darling friends, cupcakes, roses, wine, beer, pizza, surprise,  birthday wishes, TGIF…  Turning 20 and away from Teen didnt seem that bad after all. I am 20 now. Friends friends friends. Heart them all 🙂

                                  

Mr. Time, run slower.

Just some mobile uploads from Pre to Post exams. To sum things up, glad that exams are over but unfortunately the Woohoo factor was decreased and suppressed cos of the Dont-feel-good factor after every paper last week. Right now, i just want to enjoy my only free week back at home and do things the Holiday way. Teevee, sleep, naps, shopping, friendly lunches, reading, skipping, partying and meditating.

Yeah. I was kidding about the skipping. But i’m going to start on my exercise regime..

TGIF spent with the dear girlfriends for supper at Ali Shan. This is then where the smiley faces finally come in. 

A good cuppa saves the day.

A nice little TGIF spent at an old favourite hangout. The familiar atmosphere with busy waiters who ignore your presence, crazily oily but equally delicious Mee-Goreng and the constant premonition that you’re going to bumpinto someone you know There.  

So while waiting patiently for Mr Jerome-Who-Was-Late, i had the out of control Teh-tarik keeping me company. Can almost feel the love from the Indian uncle who managed to pull the Teh into such a lovely frothy cuppa. Even the Yakun in Boonlay is no where near that kind of Standard.

I miss hanging out in Thomson. I hate Jurong. Cheers, i’m outta Cave, at least for the weekends.

Fly me to the moon.

Once again, our yearly Lantern Fest’ event was held and this year was at AMK Park. Cool location with a totally cool purpose, lor. What could make it more complete would probably be Zhi, Lana, Mooncakes, Chinese Tea, Lady Chang Er and Rabbit.

And of course, judging by the pictures, who won the Best lantern competition ? My big fish did me proud. Thanks to mama who went with me to Hougang Central to hunt for it. I think this is my first decent TGIF ever since that thing call School started. BOO.

Now now, Weekends be good. I want it Real slow.

Time management 101

Today is probably one of the coldest day in Singapore’s history. Awesome. But now that i got to do laundry myself back in hall, wet weather worries me cos’ i worry about them all the time when i’m in class. “Shuwei So Aunty”.. Get that all the time. 

Got back home this morning after a night of mahjong at Wing’s room. Totally felt like i was in chalet all over again. But TGIF in hall is actually quite happening cos’ people actually do it the tgif way in style over there. There is even a Pub in campus (called the Mayflower – I know, Chees-seh) and we hung out there after Preview with Asahi beers and silly games. Tgif huh.

Obviously in some serious deprival of sleep after yet another busy hellish busy week in hall, i finally caught up with it and slept like never before just now. Missed dinner and some exciting Olympics moments completely. And resultant ? I really want to sleep early tonight but my sleeping clock is completely thwarted. Roars. Someone just knock me out please.

Can’t believe tomorrow is Sunday already and i will be back in Cocoa-Smell island. But before i drag my big fat ass back there, i have a whole pile of assignments and readings to be completed. All these were piled and accumulated since the start of the week and especially thinking about my close to 100 pages worth of readings is like shoving a piece of tissue paper and a ball of hair down my throat – I can’t breathe.

I really need to stop being such an ass in my time management.

For now, i just can’t wait for D&D to be over so that i can have my nights to myself. But oh wells, by then dswei won’t be around anymore for company so foresee many lonesome nights ahead. No one is going to visit me in hall anymore. Sighs

Think i better get going. Need to be ready for a day of assignments tomorrow. Rooars.

A busy week ended off with a very pleasant surprise visit from my dear friends like Slim, Tracy and punk rock chick Siyou. Smiley face icons everywhere. Just came back from supper with them and here i am, sitting in the dark with my hair wet while my dear roomie is deeply asleep in her corner. Haha. 

Bedtime here in hall doesn’t exist. Even if it does, i think it is like 3am for everyone. If it is not supper, it is mahjong. If it is not mahjong, it is chilling out. I swear it is a chalet here. 

Yayness. Tomorrow is Friday. My very important TGIF ! Which means i can head back to civilization and be closer to my loved ones. I miss everyone back at home, i miss my girlfriends, i miss Hougang, i miss the purple line. I miss my life.

Many things in the coming weeks and months. I need some Positivity.

But till then, i don’t know why but i am just so mother happy that i just saw my dear friends from civilization and that tomorrow is Friday.
