In For The Kill.

without comments

I hang my hopes out on the line
Will they be ready for you in time
If you leave them out too long
They’ll be withered by this song
Full stops and exclamation marks
My words stumble before I start
How far can you send emotions?
Can this bridge cross the ocean?

I’m going in for the kill
I’m doing it for a thrill
Oh I’m hoping you’ll understand
And not let go of my hand

Once.

I have yet to catch this but i have fallen in love with the soundtrack. Goes right in into Must Watch !

— Glen Hansard (frontman for indie rock band The Frames) plays the guy, a street musician who is playing for change when he meets the girl (Marketa Irglova), an immigrant from the Czech Republic. The pair immediately bond over their shared love of music (he is a guitarist, and she plays the piano), and the film chronicles their tentative relationship. Both are weighed down by plenty of baggage: his songs are fueled by a painful breakup, and she is a young mother who left her husband behind in her native country. Like the independent favorite BEFORE SUNRISE, ONCE is a simple, sweet drama that doesn’t rely on an elaborate plot. With its use of digital video and handheld cameras, ONCE matches its spare visual style to its intimate mood. Each moment feels stolen from real life, and the story is at once familiar and fresh. Driven more by music than by dialogue, ONCE features a stirring soundtrack of heartfelt indie rock sung by Hansard and Irglova. Before his foray into film, director John Carney (ON THE EDGE) played bass in The Frames, and his passion for music is clear in this modern musical that hits every note perfectly. –

Omg. LOVE LOVE IT.

Longing.

without comments

Day after day, watching time go by. Staring at the lonely face of winter in your eyes, knowing that the calm before the storm weighs on my mind. I long for lazy day. I long for lazy days. I long for lazy days of summertime (too tasty)

I long for lazy day.  / Salty Air by Bitter:Sweet

Roars. Studying kills me deep deep.

Adam Lambert is going to win American Idol 8. He is my David Cook of this season.

His rendition of Tracks of My Tears was amaaaaaaaaazing.

Alright. 2 hours of Teevee is enough. Time to get back to my 8 page long Term Paper on American Media.

As Good As It Gets.

This morning or should i say Afternoon, was woken up by the most annoying and painful noise of people cutting grass outside my room. God knows why in the world did they take So Long to shave off the grass. And i mean, the grass area that surrounds my room is not exactly that Large. I swear beauty sleep was disturbed for 3 hours or more. It was a great way to wake up to a Wednesday afternoon and then you can sense the sarcasm.

And oh. The end-semester stress is here to strike again once more. With the self-induced scare of downloading past year exam papers,(an absolute portrayal of Kiasu-ism of me)  going through the exams questions was accompanied with the deepest and most intense Frowns I can ever make. Less than 4 weeks to go before the exams. I need Hope.

Aside from all That, i am very happy to discover Bitter:Sweet  from one of the L Word episodes.

Anyone who is free and has nothing better to do should go check it out. The Mating Game track is most awesome. Makes you want to be James Bond for awhile.

Maybe Not.

There’s a dream that I see, I pray it can be. Look cross the land, shake this land. A wish or a command. I Dream that I see, don’t kill it, it’s free. You’re just a man, you get what you can.

We all do what we can, so we can do just one more thing. We can all be free. Maybe not in words, maybe not with a look. But with your mind.  Listen to me, don’t walk that street. There’s always an end to it. Come and be free, you know who I am

We’re just living people, we won’t have a thing. So we’ve got nothing to lose. We can all be free. Maybe not with words, maybe not with a look but with your mind

But with your mind. /Maybe Not – Cat Power

Cat Power is just so amazing.
