Through The Night.

without comments

Stayed up and studied into the night, for the very first time. It’s been 6 weeks into school though. Talk about being on the ball with school work. 1 more week to recess week and I am staring at weeks of readings and assignmentsss. Yeah i’m complaining again.

It’s 4am plus plus plus. The weather is uber gross and i’m perspiring just by typing off the keyboard.

The chance of waking up on time for morning class tomorrow seems bleaker by the minute. Roars.

Give It To Me.

without comments

There is always an end to everything and i think it is time to bid goodbye to the life of JCRC in the hall of mine and embark on something else. Our last meeting lasted for 9hours and yet, i did not complain for any minute. Back then, an hour of meeting seemed like forever and i never once not complained. Looking back and pardon me with my cliches, i never regretted joining this group of people whom i now call Friends.

Okay apart from all the cliches and nostalgia, maybe it is time to get myself some sleep.

Hope tomorrow will be a better day.

May my level of hope be raised cos it’s been a while since jadedness creep in like this.

Who waits now.

without comments

CNY came and go but the calories are here to stay for a long haul. As usual, feeling fatter than ever and i feel like jogging now.

I am near dead exhausted but still breathing. Saving the last few breath for all my untouched assignments and To-Dos. I just cannot wait for next week to be Over. I cannot wait for Hall Productions. And i cannot wait for IHG to be over.

Oh. My January is over.

They said it was all fun.

Unearthly. Ended meeting at 430AM last night and as a result i missed my 9AM lecture this morning (blasphemy!) , though half the world did not turn up for the lecture. Who in the world starts meeting at 2:30AM ? We do.

Though the meeting turned out to include some HTH inputs by fellow sports sects, i can’t help but cringed at the amount of politics and blah that are, slowly but surely, overshadowing this IH season.

It is 2nd week into school.

The night starts here.

I think i have an addiction.

I have an addiction to seeing my nails coated and painted with nice colours. The past few days were colourless days (due to a busy weekend) and i felt as if my life was colourless as well. Fine, a tad over exaggeration here. But really, my nails never felt so exposed and naked.

Once again, another typical night here in hall. Plugged in and counting down to the weekends. But looks like i won’t be heading home this weekend. (Oh tragedy !) The parents ain’t home and i will probably get sucked into my bed and never return.

Sigh. I miss my parents. Loneliness was never this loud.

Tuesday – Netball; Wednesday – Basketball; Thursday – Tough Rugby Friendly Match

Yeah. Totally Sporty Gal now.

The amount of perspiration i perspired during training in these 3 days were probably more than my 6 years worth of Javelin trainings combined. But instead of feeling fitter, i’m feeling worse than ever about myself cos i practically pant and played like a Dog on court. My non-existent fitness is near sub-zero. Another reminder to self: Javelin IVP next week. Holy moly.

Today’s Touch Rug was FUN. Though got intimidated by the fact that we were going to play against NTU’s Touch team (#1 Team, mind you) and that it was only my 2nd training with the CS team, the match really opened my eyes to the world of Touch. And not to mention my very dramatic fall during the match, where by for the first time in my life i got Pushed/Knocked Over by someone. ‘Pushed’ is a very delicate way of putting it already. My normally stingy usage of expletives was forced out aloud at the Pusher and got to recall my Rage Management 101. Roars. But yes nevertheless, it was a great experience to play with the team.

Team sports are just so much more fun. I’ve been deprived for many years.

That explains it all.

Total Distance = 35km

Total Cyclists = 140

Route = NTU to East Coast Park

Time Taken = 11:30PM to 6:00AM

So yeah, Hall 2 annual Night Cycling is finally over. It was 2 days ago but my fat arse is still sore. And i’m still damn shagged from the lack of sleep. Got home and has barely 3hours of sleep that day before going off to Gavin’s for pigeon BBQ (at Bukit Batok) and rushing off to Aaron’s 21st (at Pasir Ris) again halfway though. Weow. After some underwear tearing session (the boys) and overdue lantern burning ceremony, we decided to drive to Terminal 3 for more chilling out. Chilled out with the Yeahras till about 5AM before we decided to call in a day. Roars.

Don’t you be saucy with me

with 2 comments

When i clicked ‘End Test’, i could hear like every breath and feel those heart beats in my chest, throat, head and everywhere. K, just trying to dramatise The Moment cos I will never forget how incredibly Embarrassed and full of the world greatest Shame when i realised i’ve actually Failed my Basic Theory Test. Bloody Hell.

Failing the BTT is like one of those things that makes you go, Zomg, it’s true – I am really stupid. I was so embarrassed that i to attempt to cover the screaming FAILED word on my screen with my big fat face from the Ah Beng on my left and the Bangladesh national on my right.

Hurr.

On the other hand, i’m currently in the midst of Hall Camp but no thanks and thanks to my test this afternoon, i took the chance to head home for tonight. Maybe like the camp’s duration is about a good 7 Days. (another Zomg defining moment) Joined the camp only yesterday and i already experienced probably the Dirtiest camp game eveeer. Part of my recollection of what Sauces and Shits were used for last night’s game – Ketchup Sauce, Soon Kueh Dark Sauce, Vinegar, Flour, Oatmeal, Egg, Mango Concentration, Socks/Shoes/Hockey Stick/Plastic Bag/Tshirts soaked in Dark Sauce…. At the end of all the game stations, we were all soaked, down right to each and every available open pores on our skin, with the above listed Sauces. My white shirt became Dark Brown, my hair was rock-solid by the harden Oatmeal and family of Sauces, hands and legs smeared with Dark Sauce. And i haven’t even mention what were done to us during the games and as of today, after shampooing and washing of 5 times, the smell of the dark sauce lingers from my hair and hands - And I can never look at Soon Kueh the same way again.

Nobody could understand our pain.

Anyhow, to mark a milestone of my personal Independence and Growing Up, i stayed over in my own room in hall myself last night. Stranger roomie weren’t here, so were the next door toilet mates. So i was practically on my own.

My first step.
